We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in a transparent and lawful way.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, the third-party services we rely on, and the choices you have regarding your data.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your Andiova account.
- To provide, maintain and improve our CV builder, invoice generator and other tools.
- To tailor CV suggestions and AI-generated content based on the job descriptions and information you provide.

3. Third-Party Services We Use
We rely on several third-party providers to operate Andiova. These providers process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Google OAuth: Used for secure sign-in with your Google account. We receive your basic profile information (such as name and email) from Google.
- Paystack: Used to process payments for paid tools (such as CV downloads or invoices). Paystack handles your card details directly.
- MongoDB: Used as our primary database to store account data, CVs, invoices and other records.
- Groq AI: Used to power some AI-based features, such as generating CV suggestions from job descriptions and your input. Relevant text that you provide may be sent to Groq for processing.
- Vercel: Used to host the Andiova web application and some static assets.
- Email providers and analytics tools: Used to send transactional emails and understand aggregate usage of the Service.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in secure databases hosted by our providers (for example MongoDB and Vercel). We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including:
- Using HTTPS to encrypt data in transit.
- Restricting access to production systems.
- Using environment variables and secrets management for API keys and credentials.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You use Andiova at your own risk and should keep your login details confidential.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may also retain some information for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymise your personal data, subject to any legal requirements to retain certain records.
